Dr Perri Chambers

Dr Perri Chambers is a medical consultant at HealthScreen Australia. After obtaining her medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2012, Dr Perri has gained extensive medical and surgical experience throughout Australia before completing her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners .

She is particularly interested in advanced preventative health, holistic wellness and longevity medicine.

She has further qualifications in Advanced Cosmetic Medicine and Skin Cancer Medicine, supplementing her approach to holistic health and aging well .

She is passionate about personalised health care and empowering and educating patients in their own health journey.

Dr. Theodore Frangos is a consultant at HealthScreen Australia. He is also the director of TF MEDICAL – Family Medicine Specialist Clinic Dr. Frangos has been practicing for over 17 years in Integrative Medicine.

Areas of expertise are in Family Medicine, General Practice, Integrative Medicine and Cosmetic Medicine. Special interests include: Chronic disease management, Obesity & Metabolic Disorders, Pain management & Anti-ageing Medicine.

He continues the highest standard in professional education by attending interstate and international seminars by pioneers in health and medicine, and bringing world-best treatments to his patients.

Dr Michela Sorensen

Dr Michela Sorensen is a medical consultant for Healthscreen Australia.

Dr Michela completed a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2011, before becoming a fellow of the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners in 2015. She has vast experience practicing as a GP in Sydney, as well as throughout rural and remote Australia. In addition to this, Dr Michela works as a Medical Consultant for Warner Bros Australia as well as providing medical commentary through various media outlets. She appears regularly on Channel 7 Sunrise and The Morning Show, as well as Body & Soul and several other online digital platforms.

Michela has an open minded, holistic and collaborative approach to health care. Her priority is to ensure every patient feels listened to and in control of their own health. Preventative health forms the foundation of her practice, both in the clinic and in her media work, with her 3 key pillars being knowledge, community and well-being. She strives to provide a platform for individuals to develop a knowledge and understanding of their health and in doing so empowering these individuals and their communities to enhance their overall well-being.

Dr David Badov

Dr David Badov is the Medical Director of HealthScreen. Dr Badov has been a practising specialist physician with nearly 30 years experience in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Bowel Cancer Prevention, Preventative Medicine and Longevity has been an integral part of his research into the latest medical advances, technology and wellness tools to incorporate into HealthScreen. Dr Badov graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1989 and trained at the Royal Melbourne, Alfred and Frankston Hospitals. Dr Badov has numerous publications, including major international journals in the gastroenterological field, and is currently the Head of Gastroenterology at the Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals (Peninsula Health), Medical Director of Direct Endoscopy and Director of the Peninsula Liver Clinic.

His areas of expertise include diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Badov has performed over 120,000 endoscopic procedures over the last twenty five years, with particular interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. His other medical interests include liver disease, particularly viral hepatitis and Hepatology. He is a member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA), the Australian Liver Association (ALA).

Monica Badov

Monica is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at HealthScreen.

Monica graduated from Bond University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Major in Marketing), with legal specialisations in Intellectual Property and Commercial Law. Monica then commenced working at a large day hospital group in 2015 as the Chief Operating Officer.

Monica is now heavily immersed in the Healthcare industry, having since established businesses in the fields of Radiology, Medical Equipment supply and Medical Software.

Monica manages the day to day operations at HealthScreen.

Greg Hunt

Professor Hunt is the Senior Advisor to the Executive Team at HealthScreen.

Professor Hunt was appointed Honorary Enterprise Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Services and the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne in December 2022. Greg is also the inaugural Chair of the Advisory Council for the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health at Monash University. He advises a wide range of businesses and not for profits in the areas of innovation, leadership, strategic planning, health and the environment.
Greg is a highly experienced former Cabinet Minister in the Australian Government, having served as Australia’s Minister for the Environment, Innovation and Health across three major portfolios over almost nine years.

As Minister for Health from 2017 to 2022, he oversaw Australia’s response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, established telehealth as a permanent and universal centrepiece of Medicare, reformed private health and established long-term plans for mental health, aged care, medical research and primary care and listed over 2,000 new and amended medicines for public access.

As the longest serving Federal Member for Flinders (over 20 years), he is a nationally and internationally experienced legislator, negotiator, strategic thinker, stakeholder manager and administrator.

Dr Philip Barraclough

Dr Barraclough is the Director of Clinical Services at HealthScreen. Dr Barraclough has been involved in the area of Preventative Medicine, Fitness and Population Screening over the last thirty years. Dr Barraclough completed his degree at the University of New South Wales in 1977. He has been a General Practitioner since 1981, initially in Canberra and then in Melbourne.

He is a former President of the ACT Division of General Practice, Vice President of the ACT Medical Board and for many years sat on the Ethics Committee of the Australian Institute of Sport. He has a keen interest in Longevity, Exercise and Preventative Health.

Sehaj has over a decade of experience in sales, business development, and operations, leading high-performing teams and driving business growth. Before joining HealthScreen, he worked across multiple industries, managing operations, B2B partnerships, and business expansion.

Vision Radiology is the Radiology Partner for HealthScreen.

Vision Radiology is a comprehensive Diagnostic Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology service provider with multiple clinics in metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

They are a dynamic organisation driven by clarity of vision and values that focus on providing accessible and compassionate care for their patients and referrers.

These objectives are achieved through subspeciality training Radiologists and highly trained clinical and clerical staff. They utilise the latest imaging technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

Mr Chris Xenos

Mr Chris Xenos is an Australian trained adult and paediatric consultant neurosurgeon. He has a private and public neurosurgical practice based at Monash Health and Cabrini Malvern servicing the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and the Mornington peninsula region. He treats a wide variety of neurosurgical conditions, with a focus on evidence based medicine, providing his expertise in a compassionate caring manner, whilst aiming for excellent outcomes.

Mr Xenos completed his medical degree at Melbourne University in 1989 and went on to complete his FRACS in Neurosurgery in 1998 having trained in all the major neurosurgical units in Melbourne. In 1999 he completed a 12 month Paediatric Neurosurgery post-graduate Fellowship at the esteemed Princess of Wales Children’s Hospital in Birmingham UK with Tony Hockley. Experience was gained in all paediatric pathologies with a special interest in cranial tumours and research publications on congenital anomalies, csf disorders and hydrocephalus.

Mr Xenos has over 20 years of experience in the field of neurosurgery. His adult practice treats pathologies such as cerebral tumours, vascular anomalies such as aneurysm and avm’s, and degenerative spine conditions. His paediatric experience includes cranial and spinal tumours, congenital anomalies such as chiari malformation and spina bifida, with a special interest in the management of hydrocephalus and complex csf disorders. He has extensive experience in the use of cranial Endoscopy in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of intra-ventricular pathologies.

Dr Askin Gunes

Dr Askin Gunes graduated from University of Melbourne in 1993 and then went on to receive his fellowship in respiratory medicine.

Dr Gunes has further post FRACP training in gastroenterology and endoscopy.

Dr Gunes has extensive experience in treating respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders in both public and private sectors and is involved in medical student, HMO and advanced registrar training.

Dr Gunes has a particular clinical interest in:

Dr. Olivier van den Brink

Dr. Olivier van den Brink is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging Specialist.

Olivier has a special interest in Cardiovascular Imaging including Echocardiogram, Stress Echo, transoesophageal Echo, multi-slice cardiac CT scan, and diagnostic coronary angiography.

Olivier has a passion for the management of Heart Failure with a particular interest in device therapy. This includes pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapies (biventricular pacemakers).

Olivier also is on staff at the Alfred Hospital. He performs pacemaker and defibrillator insertions and aftercare as well as stress and trans-oesophageal echocardiograms.

Olivier trained in cardiology at the Alfred Hospital. In 2005 he completed a PhD at the Baker Medical Research Institute. Olivier spent two years at Leiden University Medical Centre as an Overseas Fellow. He specialised in Non-invasive Imaging and Device Therapy.

He also works in private practice in Bayside and on the Mornington Peninsula. Born in the Netherlands, Olivier moved to Australia in 2001 with his family.

Professor Mark Frydenberg AM

Urologist and Prostate Specialist

Professor Frydenberg has a long distinguished career in academic urology and was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016 for his services to medicine. He is a regular presenter at both national and international meetings, and is a regular reviewer and is on the editorial board of two major international urological journals.

He has been the Chairman of the Urological Oncology Special Advisory Group of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand from 2007 to 2013 and held the position of President of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand from 2015 to 2017. He remains on the Board of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and is also a council member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons where he currently holds the role of Deputy Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee.

He is also a Board member of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and has recently been appointed as the Academic Director of Urology at Cabrini Health.

Mr Uri Hanegbi

Mr Uri Hanegbi is an experienced Urologist and Prostate Specialist.

Mr Uri Hanegbi is also an experienced Urological Surgeon with a particular interest in the management of Prostate Cancer, benign prostate enlargement and kidney stones. Comprehensive range of surgical treatments offered by Mr Hanegbi include robotic radical prostatectomy, open radical prostatectomy and brachytherapy (radioactive seed implantation). Mr Hanegbi gained expertise in performing these treatments through training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he undertook a Urologic Oncology Fellowship. He has also undertaken further training in the United States, gaining experience in nerve sparing radical prostatectomy, robotic surgery and brachytherapy.

As part of Mr Hanegbi’s commitment to education and ongoing professional development, he is a Senior Monash University Lecturer, on staff at the Alfred Hospital, and is involved in the selection, education and assessment of Urological Trainees.

Elizabeth Heather is the Chief of Nutrition at HealthScreen.

Elisabeth is an accredited practicing dietitian with the Dietitians Association of Australia, an Accredited Sports Dietitian with Sports Dietitians Australia and a level 1 ISAK Anthropometrist.

She holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics degree from Deakin University, graduating in 1996.

Elizabeth has long had an interest in Health and Preventative Medicine with over 20 years experience within the health industry.

Elisabeth has worked in multifaceted roles as a dietitian and within the pharmaceutical industry.  Her skills lie in the areas of sports nutrition, body composition, cardio-metabolic health, musculoskeletal health and rheumatology, as well as gastroenterology, oncology and aged care.

Elisabeth is a keen sportswoman herself, having practised Shukokai karate for the past 14 years. She is also an avid cyclist and gym enthusiast. Nutrition plays an important role for Elisabeth in health and sport.

Gary Mathewson
