01
Initial Visit
You will be welcomed by our reception and concierge staff and introduced to our highly trained doctors. Your initial visit is when we will be undertaking all of your health assessments.
02
Medical Consultation
At your initial visit the doctor will undertake your detailed medical history, including your family history and plan an individualized health assessment program based on your specific risk factors. You will then undergo a comprehensive medical examination.
03
Pathology Tests
Next – ECG, pathology blood tests and urine tests will be taken. These may include genetic tests for hereditary genetic cancer predisposition as assessed and discussed by your doctor. For more information about our Genetic Testing, please click here
04
MRI Assessment
You will be next taken to have targeted MRI comprehensive assessment and early diagnosis scan. This is a radiation-free, non-invasive and comfortable examination. Our advanced revolutionary immersive infotainment MRI technology allows you to relax and watch a TV show or movie, or just listen to music during the scan. For more information about our Medical Imaging, please click here. The MRI scan will be about 40 minutes and allows for Advanced Screening and Early Detection of 20 most common cancers in Australia including Ovarian, Pancreatic, Prostate, Liver, Lung, Brain, Thyroid Cancers as well as brain aneurysms, and cardiovascular disease such as Carotid Artery Disease and Aortic Aneurysm.
05
Stroke Risk Assessment
Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability. More than 80% of strokes can be prevented. Carotid Artery disease is a common cause of stroke. Carotid arteries are usually narrowed by a build-up of plaque — made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium and other substances. Carotid Duplex Ultrasound is performed next to screen for stroke risk and determine whether you may have narrowing of carotid arteries. Carotid Duplex Ultrasound is a study that uses sound waves to examine the blood flow through the carotid arteries (blood vessels on either side of your neck). It is a safe, painless and non-invasive examination with no radiation. Early diagnosis and treatment of a narrowed carotid artery can decrease stroke risk.
06
Cardiac CT Assessment
You will then undergo advanced cardiac imaging to assess your risk of heart disease with Cardiac CT if clinically indicated. Coronary Artery Disease is the leading cause of death in the western society. The identification of your risk is a central component to subsequent treatment and improvement in your health. Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring is a very accurate and reproducible way of detecting coronary artery disease and to estimate future risk of cardiac events.
07
Body Composition Assessment
Your next comprehensive assessment will include Advanced Body Composition assessment. Our advanced technology driven by AMRA allows for radiation-free body composition assessment including visceral and abdominal fat content analysis, liver fat assessment, and importantly muscle group volumes and individual muscle assessments. It is the most detailed, highly accurate and precise body composition analysis currently available for both general health assessments and professional athletes.
08
Bowel Cancer Prevention
Depending on your individual risk assessment, bowel cancer screening options will also be discussed by your doctor and include FOBT or colonoscopy. For more information about Bowel Cancer Prevention, please click here
09
Follow up Visit
The last step is an extended meeting to review all screening and test results with the physician. The Physician will determine required follow ups and coordinate preferred appointments with specialists and will discuss and review proposed personal wellness plan. A comprehensive written report will be provided to your family physician/General Practitioner to enable continuity of care.
